Background
G2V Optics (G2V) was founded to apply innovative technology and data driven, collaborative design toward solutions for this generation’s global issues. Starting with the highest precision spectral replication ever produced, G2V now provides a suite of advanced lighting, monitoring, and data science products to push the boundaries of renewable energy research, material science, and modern horticulture.
The Challenge
G2V provides technologically advanced solutions for sunlight simulation, most commonly used for indoor, “vertical” farming applications. In order to better serve their customers, they have now developed an advanced camera pod system capable of detecting and diagnosing plant stress before it is evident to the naked-eye. What they lacked was an end-to-end IoT platform to connect their new product fleet to their customers.
The Solution
TensorIoT laid the foundation for the client’s IoT success by delivering an MVP solution custom-designed to begin connecting customers effectively and securely. As part of the engagement, TensorIoT also trained the client’s staff to take full ownership of the solution so that it can continue to grow with their products’ success.
